Lead In Your Lipstick! Beware!

After doing a test on lipsticks, it was found that the Y.S.L.lipstick contained

Watch out for those lipsticks which are supposed to stay longer.
If your lipstick stays longer, it is because of the higher content of lead.

Here is the test you can do yourself:

1. Put some lipstick on your hand.

2. Use a Gold ring to scratch on the lipstick.

3. If the lipstick color changes to black then you know
the lipstick contains lead.

Stress Relief For the Christmas Rush

Hi Ladies,

It is December and as women our stress load increases as each day inches toward the 25th. We need to take time...even a few minutes to relax and reduce our stress level. Lock yourself in the bathroom and soak in a relaxing herb bath. Add a candle and music to make it even more effective.

Go on a walk to relieve the stress. Walking is good for both mental stress, and to help with estrogen dominance.

Write a list of all your blessings: big blessings and small ones as well. Blessings include a home, food to eat, clothes, your family, all of these. Many thousands of people do not have any of these such as food.

Drink some chamomile tea before bed. This will help relax you.

Self-Healing Basics

Through this article I would like to explore some very basic
methods that can be used by the individual to relieve
tension, stress, depression, as well as sharpen intuition, clear
the mind, increase energy, and help restore a general sense
of well being. As with all material of this nature it is not
intended to diagnose or cure any illness. Conditions requiring
medical attention should be treated properly through conventional
channels.
Please use discretion.

The basic premise in all of this is to know that all beings
require equality. There must be a balance between the
spiritual, emotional, and physical being. When the balance is
off, we are off. We feel the repercussions through physical
pain, discomfort, anxiety, anger, and depression. When we
go to the doctor to seek pills for physical ailments, we seek
to put a Band-Aid on the symptoms and not usually the underlying
problem. Again I am not discouraging anyone from going to the doctor,
however most doctors would agree that a well-balanced person tends to
be a healthier person. Nothing that improves the outlook can hurt you.

There are various natural methods that can be used by
anyone in even the busiest lifestyles, to help restore a sense
of balance. I will be touching on the basics of

*Visualization

*Affirmations

*Journal Writing

MEDITATION: There are many misconceptions about meditation.
Many feel it takes a lot of time or that it is a serious religious
practice. It definitely does not have to be and is
one of the most powerful tools anyone can integrate into their
lifestyles. It takes a little effort, but the rewards you can reap are
immeasurable. The truth is even a moment or two a couple of times a day
gives the mind a chance to regroup. This is particularly helpful for
those who suffer from anxiety or the racing mind.

For beginning meditations I recommend sitting in a comfortable position
in a location as free from outside noise as possible. Close the eyes
and simply focus on clearing your mind of all conscious thought. If this
is difficult you can repeat a word that makes you think relaxing
thoughts. My word is "repose. If you catch your mind starting to wander
gently pull it back to your word or to the stillness. When you first start
try doing this for only a minute or two, and then as you do it more you
can increase the time. If you are patient and keep with it, you will
find that the benefits are well worth the effort. Your mind will thank
you for the break.

Visualizations:

Next I would like to move on to Visualizations. All of us know
how to daydream. The truth is when you daydream you are doing a
visualization of sorts. You are removing the conscious mind from
all the hustle and bustle of its thoughts and placing it somewhere
else. In visualization exercises the purpose is to control where
you put your thoughts.

It can be used to aid in pain relief, depression, (I am seasonally
depressed and use visualization therapy a lot to help me get through
winter) and in anxiety reduction.

Bring into vision in your minds eye a place that relaxes you.
A place that is all your own. It can be an actual place you
have been to, or just a place you make up. This will be your
escape from the real world. Picture the place in your mind.
Now go deeper into the picture. What do you see? Look for
the details of your special place. What is the temperature
like? If you are outside, how is the weather? What do you
hear? What do you smell? Reach out and touch the ground or
the floor, what does it feel like? Touch; hear, smell everything
here. Spend a minute or two answering each question. Really develop
your place to the tiniest details. If it helps you write a description
of it. It is very important to bring it to life in your mind in a way
you can always go back to it and see it in its fullest details and unique
beauty.

Affirmations

Next I would like to cover affirmations. Affirmations are brief,
positive statements developed to help us to reprogram certain parts
of our subconscious. Many of us don't realize how many negative
thoughts we are bombarded with, self inflicted and otherwise.
Desensitization effects all of us.

For one hour focus and try to pay attention to all of
your random thoughts. For every negative thought you have or hear
make a mark on a piece of paper. At the end of the hour take that
number and multiply it by about 16, this is a good indication of
how much negativity your absorbing. You will be surprised with
the results.

We all have that little nagging voice inside of us that tries
to tear us down. "You're not pretty enough you're not smart
enough" etc. This can be a very powerful voice and the more
negativity we consume, the more we feed it. In turn it tells
us more negative things, so ultimately we believe them and
begin to lose our personal power. One of the most effective
tools to use against this negativity is to reprogram our
thought patterns. The Subconscious mind repeats what it is
programmed with, not caring whether it is negative or positive.

What you hear and think often enough you will believe. Our goal
here is to fight fire with fire so to speak, and come back at
the negatives with a positive and to reinforce those positives.

An affirmation should have the following qualities:

Must be brief Must be concise Must not have the word no in
it or any negative connotations Must be easy to remember
Must be repeated often.

An example of a good affirmation would be I have all I need
and I am thankful. Or I love myself unconditionally.

As a general rule I say to keep the same affirmation going for
at least a week. Learn to say it with conviction. Pay attention
to what you are saying every time you repeat it. When you
have a few minutes to yourself go look in the mirror and say
it to yourself and mean it! Yes you will tell yourself you look
silly, that's OK, do it anyway. The more you do the less silly
you will feel and the more empowered you become. When we face
ourselves we find our true strength!

Writing / Journal Keeping

I can not say enough how much writing helps. There are
many different types of ways to do this and the best method
is to find your own method. One that is comfortable to you,
as this is a very intense, very deeply personal experience.

When you first start just writ e/type whatever comes into your
head, no matter how silly it might seem. This is the key to
unlock the floodgates. Gradually as you get into it and time
progresses you will open many doors of self-discovery, and
through this begin to regain your balance.

I hope that some of these methods will begin to help you
become a stronger, more confident person.

A rare bacteria has now been linked to the death of all 4 women who died in California after taking the RU-486 abortion pill. The bacteria is called Clostridum Sordellii bacteria.This bacteria can lead to weakness, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea but can lack some of the usual symptoms such as infection, and fever. (OMNS) American poison control statistics show that in one year, there
were 28 deaths from heroin; acetaminophen (the active ingredient in
products like Tylenol ) killed 147. Though acetaminophen killed over five
times as many as an illegal drug, few would say that we should make
this generally regarded as safe, over-the-counter pain reliever require
prescription.

Yet misconceptions and misinformation about alleged dangers of mineral,
herbal and amino acid supplements are persistent, in spite of the lack
of scientific evidence to support such fearfulness.

MINERAL SUPPLEMENTS
The 2003 Annual Report of the American Association of Poison Control
Centers Toxic Exposures Surveillance System, published in the American
Journal of Emergency Medicine (1), lists eight deaths in the “mineral
supplement” category. Five are not from supplements at all, but rather
are from pharmacological sources rightly termed electrolytes : two
from sodium and three from potassium (p 389). Pharmacologic doses of
sodium and potassium are usually given in hospital intravenously and are a
frequent cause of electrolyte imbalance. Two deaths were allegedly due
to iron overdose. Since 1986, there has been an average of two deaths
per year associated with iron supplements. The sole remaining death was
from calcium, a mineral that is employed medically for its antidote
properties. In fact, in 2003, calcium was used as a lifesaving antidote in
5,228 cases (p 344). There is no evidence that the single listed
calcium death was from a supplement, and the odds are overwhelming th!
at it
was not. That makes a year’s total of perhaps two deaths
“associated with” a supplemental mineral. Caffeine also killed two people in
2003. Yet tea, coffee and cola soft drinks are not sold with restriction,
prescription, or in childproof bottles, and rather few would maintain
that they need to be.

HERBAL SUPPLEMENTS
The 2003 Report of the American Association of Poison Control Centers
Toxic Exposures Surveillance System indicates a total of 13 deaths
attributed to herbal preparations. Three of these are from ephedra, two from
yohimbe, and two from ma-huang. Accepting all seven claims of deaths
attributed to these products, we still find that there were over 20 times
as many deaths each year from acetaminophen.

Only three deaths are attributable to other single ingredient
botanicals, and oddly enough, their identity remains unnamed in the Toxic
Exposures report. Reporting three deaths without naming the cause is a
clear admission of uncertainty.

Millions of persons take herbal remedies, and have done so for
generations. Indigenous and Westernized peoples alike have found them to be
safe and effective, and the 2003 Report of the American Association of
Poison Control Centers Toxic Exposures Surveillance System confirms this
(p 388-389). There have been no deaths at all from cultural medicines,
including ayurvedic, Asian, Hispanic, and in fact, from all others.

Additionally, we find:

Blue cohosh: 0 deaths

Ginko biloba: 0 deaths

Echinacea: 0 deaths

Ginseng: 0 deaths

Kava kava: 0 deaths

St John's wort: 0 deaths

Valerian: 0 deaths

Furthermore, there have been zero deaths from phytoestrogens,
glandulars, blue-green algae, or homeopathic remedies.

AMINO ACID SUPPLEMENTS
In 2003, poison control centers reported zero deaths from amino acids.

SO WHERE ARE THE BODIES?
Natural health products, such as amino acids, herbs, minerals, and
other nutritional supplements, have a proven safe usage history. This is
clearly demonstrated by the 2003 Annual Report of the American
Association of Poison Control Centers Toxic Exposures Surveillance System,
published in the American Journal of Emergency Medicine.

Your sexual desire increases as your waist line decreases!

New research has shown that losing about 13% of your
body weight over a two year period boosts sexual desire.

Your sex drive increases because you feel more sexually
attractive.

200 people weighing an average weight close to 250
pounds completed a questionnaire. They were asked to rate
their feelings on lack of sex drive to reluctance to being
seen undressed and difficult sexual performances.

After being in a weight loss program for 12 months the
participants completed another questionnaire and the
results were:

26 percent reported not feeling sexually attractive,
down from 68 percent at the beginning

34 percent report ed not wanting to be seen undressed,
down from 63 percent

11 percent report not enjoying sexual activity, down
from 21 percent

15 percent reported having little sexual desire, down
from 39 percent

15 percent reported avoiding sexual encounters, down
from 29 percent

12 percent reported difficulty with sexual performance,
down from 27 percent

Low self esteem due to being overweight impacts sexual
desire levels as well as health and lifespan.

Martin Binks a Duke University psychologist presented a
study at a meeting of the Obesity Society showing that
shedding a few pounds can improve things in the bedroom
by making people feel better about their bodies.

You reap a lot of benefit from moderate weight loss of 10
to 13%. Binks said, "It's a wonderful message. You don't
have to reach some ideal weight to be healthy and happy."

The feelings of being unattractive and the unwillingness
to be seen naked deadened the sexual desire. Plus, when
they wanted to have sex, the excess weight made it an ordeal.

That certainly was true of Carlene Wellington, 62, and her
husband, Gary, 63, of suburban Tacoma, Wash.

Both were a healthy weight when they married 42 years
ago, until she started to "show love" by cooking massive
amounts of food. She and her husband ballooned to 237 and
355 pounds, respectively, and their sex life suffered.

"We had about 600 pounds in our bed," she said.

"I called it my workbench," because sex was so physically
difficult," he said.

Carlene was embarrassed by her body. "I could get
dressed without showing my skin, and had to have the lights
off when we had sex," she said.

During sex, she often felt pressure in her chest, caused by
anxiety and dread.

She now weighs 153 pounds and her tall husband a trim
235."It's just like being married to a different person -
or going back 25 years," she said.

Her husband recalled the day 13 years ago - after the
couple has just lost a combined 200 pounds - when he looked
at his wife one morning and told her she had a cute butt.

"I don't know if she thought I was trying to make her late
for work or not," he said. But he was struck by how much
he wanted to.

"The term "love is blind" is true," he said. But now that
he and his wife have both lost weight, "things work better,"
and sex is again a joy.

A 13% weight loss for someone weighing 250 pounds is
only 32.5 pounds. A weight loss of 2.7 pounds per week for
12 weeks would result in a loss of 32.4 pounds.

Progesterone

Hi,


I have been on vacation so I am sorry that the blog got neglected for a couple of weeks.

This is an article from Dr. Lee's site and it is very good. It gives you very good answers on progesterone therapy. Dr. Lee preached for years that estrogen therapy was not the answer and that it caused problems. His viewpoint and research was finally upheld and women were finally told the truth. Estrogen alone is not the answer! I wish that the late Dr. Lee was here to hear the truth finally being admitted by standard medicine.


Q: What is progesterone?

A: Progesterone is a steroid hormone made by the corpus luteum of the ovary at ovulation, and in smaller amounts by the adrenal glands. Progesterone is manufactured in the body from the steroid hormone pregnenolone, and is a precursor to most of the other steroid hormones, including cortisol, androstenedione, the estrogens and testosterone.

In a normally cycling female, the corpus luteum produces 20 to 30 mg of progesterone daily during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle.

Q: Why do women need progesterone?

A: Progesterone is needed in hormone replacement therapy for menopausal women for many reasons, but one of its most important roles is to balance or oppose the effects of estrogen. Unopposed estrogen creates a strong risk for breast cancer and reproductive cancers.

Estrogen levels drop only 40-60% at menopause, which is just enough to stop the menstrual cycle. But progesterone levels may drop to near zero in some women. Because progesterone is the precursor to so many other steroid hormones, its use can greatly enhance overall hormone balance after menopause. Progesterone also stimulates bone-building and thus helps protect against osteoporosis.

Q: Why not just use the progestin Provera as prescribed by most doctors?

A: Progesterone is preferable to the synthetic progestins such as Provera, because it is natural to the body and has no undesirable side effects when used as directed.

If you have any doubts about how different progesterone is from the progestins, remember that the placenta produces 300-400 mg of progesterone daily during the last few months of pregnancy, so we know that such levels are safe for the developing baby. But progestins, even at fractions of this dose, can cause birth defects. The progestins also cause many other side effects, including partial loss of vision, breast cancer in test dogs, an increased risk of strokes, fluid retention, migraine headaches, asthma, cardiac irregularities and depression.

Q: What is estrogen dominance?

A: Dr. Lee has coined the term "estrogen dominance," to describe what happens when the normal ratio or balance of estrogen to progesterone is changed by excess estrogen or inadequate progesterone. Estrogen is a potent and potentially dangerous hormone when not balanced by adequate progesterone.

Both women who have suffered from PMS and women who have suffered from menopausal symptoms, will recognize the hallmark symptoms of estrogen dominance: weight gain, bloating, mood swings, irritability, tender breasts, headaches, fatigue, depression, hypoglycemia, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and fibrocystic breasts. Estrogen dominance is known to cause and/or contribute to cancer of the breast, ovary, endometrium (uterus), and prostate.

Q: Why would a premenopausal woman need progesterone cream?

A: In the ten to fifteen years before menopause, many women regularly have anovulatory cycles in which they make enough estrogen to create menstruation, but they don't make any progesterone, thus setting the stage for estrogen dominance. Using progesterone cream during anovulatory months can help prevent the symptoms of PMS.

We now know that PMS can occur despite normal progesterone levels when stress is present. Stress increases cortisol production; cortisol blockades (or competes for) progesterone receptors. Additional progesterone is required to overcome this blockade, and stress management is important.

Q: What is progesterone made from?

A: The USP progesterone used for hormone replacement comes from plant fats and oils, usually a substance called diosgenin which is extracted from a very specific type of wild yam that grows in Mexico, or from soybeans. In the laboratory diosgenin is chemically synthesized into real human progesterone. The other human steroid hormones, including estrogen, testosterone, progesterone and the cortisones are also nearly always synthesized from diosgenin.

Some companies are trying to sell diosgenin, which they label "wild yam extract" as a medicine or supplement, claiming that the body will then convert it into hormones as needed. While we know this can be done in the laboratory, there is no evidence that this conversion takes place in the human body.

Q: Where should I put the progesterone cream?

A: Because progesterone is very fat-soluble, it is easily absorbed through the skin. From subcutaneous fat, progesterone is absorbed into capillary blood. Thus absorption is best at all the skin sites where people blush: face, neck, chest, breasts, inner arms and palms of the hands.

Q: What is the recommended dosage of progesterone?

A: For premenopausal women the usual dose is 15-24 mg/day for 14 days before expected menses, stopping the day or so before menses.

For postmenopausal women, the dose that often works well is 15 mg/day for 25 days of the calendar month.

Q: What amount of progesterone do you recommend in a cream?

A: Dr. Lee recommends the creams that contain 450-500 mg of progesterone per ounce, which is 1.6% by weight or 3% by volume. This means that about ¼ teaspoon daily would provide about 20 mg/day.

Q: How safe is progesterone cream?

A: During the third trimester of pregnancy, the placenta produces about 300 mg of progesterone daily, so we know that a one-time overdose of the cream is virtually impossible. If you used a whole jar at once it might make you sleepy. However, Dr. Lee recommends that women avoid using higher than the recommended dosage to avoid hormone imbalances. More is not better when it comes to hormone balance.

Q: Wouldn't it be easier to just take a progesterone pill?

A: Dr. Lee recommends the transdermal cream rather than oral progesterone, because some 80% to 90% of the oral dose is lost through the liver. Thus, at least 200 to 400 mg daily is needed orally to achieve a physiologic dose of 15 to 24 mg daily. Such high doses create undesirable metabolites and unnecessarily overload the liver.

Progesterone Just The Facts Please

Sixty years ago, progesterone was found to be the main hormone produced by the ovaries. Since it was necessary for fertility, and for maintaining a healthy pregnancy, it was called the “pro-gestational hormone.” It’s the most protective hormone the body produces, and the large amounts that are produced during pregnancy result from the developing baby's need for protection from the stressful environment. Normally, the brain contains a very high concentration of progesterone, reflecting its protective function for that most important organ. The thymus gland, the key organ of our immune system, is also profoundly dependent on progesterone.

Research Results

In experiments, progesterone was found to be the basic hormone of adaptation and of resistance to stress. The adrenal glands use it to produce anti-stress hormones, and when there is enough progesterone, the adrenals don't have to produce the potentially harmful steroid cortisone. During progesterone deficiency, which occurs most frequently during long term stressful situations, menopause, PMS and andropause, the body produces too much cortisone. Excessive cortisone causes osteoporosis, aging of the skin, damage to brain cells, and the accumulation of fat, especially on the back and abdomen.

To name a few benefits outside of pregnancy that this hormone offers the body, experiments have shown that progesterone:

  • Relieves anxiety
  • Improves memory
  • Protects brain cells
  • Prevents epileptic seizures
  • Promotes respiration
  • Corrects emphysema
  • Prevents bulging veins by increasing the tone of blood vessels
  • Improves the efficiency of the heart
  • Reverses many of the signs of aging in the skin
  • Promotes healthy bone growth
  • Relieves many types of arthritis
  • Helps a variety of immunological problems
  • Stimulates bone-building and helps protect against osteoporosis
  • Alleviates mood swings

Need for Progesterone
Progesterone is needed in HRT for many reasons, but one of its most important roles is to balance or oppose the effects of estrogen. Unopposed estrogen creates a strong risk for breast cancer and reproductive cancers. Estrogen levels drop just enough to stop the menstrual cycle while progesterone levels may drop to near zero in some women.

Because progesterone is the precursor to so many other steroid hormones, its use can greatly enhance overall hormone balance.
Natural progesterone is safe and non-toxic. It helps to balance the effects of estrogen, and has a calming effect on the nervous system.

Caution
Beware of products that are synthetic and make statements that they are similar to natural or derived naturally. If they are patented, they are synthetic, and can be harmful to the body. If you are on HRT that is not progesterone only, you may be ingesting harmful estrogens into your system and causing long-term health risks. You can slowly decrease this program and go onto natural progesterone, under supervision of a health care provider. How Eating Habits Affect your Fibroid Tumors, Endometriosis and Contributes to Being Estrogen Dominant!

Your dietary habits are extremely important in getting fibroid tumors and endometriosis under control. You must implement the dietary changes to feel better.

The following list are high-stress foods that can worsen these problems!

Dairy products, regular eggs, chocolate, sugar, alcohol, wheat, pastries, added salt, coffee, caffeine, soda drinks, ham, bacon, beef, lamb, pork, and deserts.


Dairy Products: There are many people out there that are either allergic to milk or cannot digest it properly. Many of the Europeans have this problem. They lack the enzymes to digest milk.

Cows Milk is one of the top three foods responsible for food allergies. Corn and Pork are also in that top 3 list.

If you are allergic to milk...it results in digestive disturbances such as bloating, gas, and bowel changes, which get much worst before and during your period!

Milk allergy can be responsible for 10 to 15 pounds of excess weight.

Saturated fats ( mainly red meat) also contain arachidonic acid.

You can drink Goats Milk. It does not contribute to the estrogen issues and is easy to digest. Its the closest milk to breast milk.

Eggs: If you buy eggs buy only organic, omega rich, cage free or range free eggs. These eggs are good for you. You taste the difference and the way they were fed and raised make them a good food.

Excessive saturated fat intake is stressful on the liver, so the liver has more trouble doing one of it's jobs which is breaking down estrogen. This adds to the problem of excess estrogen!Excess estrogen or being estrogen dominant is linked to heavy menstrual bleeding, clots, allergies, altered thyroid activity,decreased sex drive, depression,fluid retention, impaired blood sugar control, increase of body fat especially around the stomach, hips and thighs, fibrocystic breast disease, breast tenderness, increased risk of endometrial cancer, increased risk of breast cancer, PMS, and memory loss!

Note: This is a personal testament. I suggest after reading this that you consult a Holistic doctor who has experience with female problems ! After consulting your holistic doctor and armed with more knowledge - make your treatment decision.

My first steps with my fibroid tumors were diet. After some time, I had moderate success but still was having pain and severe bleeding at times. I went into the books to see what more could be done. I went through my private library, and came upon the Essiac Report Cancer book. Essiac works on tumors and cancers, though in the book, not the kind I had. I did not have cancer but a benign fibroid tumor. I was not sure it would work but it seemed a good try. Essiac works on detoxifing the liver and kidneys. Fibroids are fed by excess Estrogen. The liver helps to rid the body of the excess Estrogen that is circulating and causing problems.

I tried several brands that did not work. That took up the better part of a year. I needed to find an answer because of the severity of my symptoms.

How bad was I ladies? My bleeding had been so severe that one of the three times in the emergency room they performed an emergency D And C to stop the bleeding.

One of the times, I woke up in a pool of blood in the bed. They hesitated to operate at the time because I had lost so much blood and was so weak. I was in bed a full week. That time, they gave me a medication to stop the bleeding. It worked then but not the next time.

Still, I did not want surgery, I knew there was an answer. I had decided to stop the Essiac program, because of the lack of results, when a friend of mine suggested this brand, Natures Unique Ezzeac with Cat's Claw.

This formula is the historic formula but with added Cat's Claw Herb.

After taking it for two weeks, my energy level increased and I began to feel better overall. About 6 weeks into the program, I began to notice my stomach getting smaller and seemed less irritated inside. It was around that time that I noticed my periods begin to normalize, with reduced bleeding and reduced severe pain.

It got better and better with each period. The reduction of the 2 fibroids which were huge was confirmed by Kaiser and ultra sound. The doctors stopped pushing for a hysterectomy. I had no more trips to the emergency room.

Why did this brand work over the others? Its concentrated, it contains added Cat's Claw, and perhaps the quality of the product. These are possible answers, but I won't ever know for sure. I do know, with this brand, taking it at 4 ozs a day, I begin to see results at 6 weeks. The severe bleeding, huge clots with pain, disappeared. It took 4 oz a day to achieve this success...anything less did not work.

I must again state, I did not achieve results until I increased the dosage to 4 ozs a day. I increased it after 2 weeks, because it seemed to make me feel better when I took it. I still take it at times just because it sparks my energy level. It is great for liver congestion and to detoxify.

There are some individuals who may have temporary problems with Essiac. Some people are full of toxins-years of bad diet and hard living.

When you take the Essiac, the body may go into a cleanse mode. You might see an increase in headaches, acne, or fatigue. Why? Toxins inside you must come out for you to be well. It is called a Healing Crisis. Any symptoms such as fatigue will go away within days to be replaced by more energy and vitality. I personally have had no problem with it......but each person is different and it could happen when you take it.

When you begin to clean that closet, it's a mess with items all over the place. Its such a mess, you want to quit, and wish you had not started it in the first place.

If you persist and finish the job, you are rewarded with a great clean looking room again.

If you continue your health program, in the end, you will be rewarded with renewed energy and health.

I had to continue to take ithe Ezzeac for another year before I could discontinue the program without the fibroids increasing again. I tried several times to go off it, because of the expense, but they would begin to grow again.

After a year, when I went off the Ezzeac, I was fine. They did not increase again. It was 2 years later that I went into full menopause. I had periods on and off during that time but without the severe bleeding and pain.

I had to take ithe ezzeac for over a year to become free of pain, severe bleeding, and have my stomach look normal again. This is not a easy, quick program. You have to be religious and take it every day. It takes at least 6 to 8 weeks before you may see positive signs.

I might also add that if you are bleeding to the extent of a emergency room visit, as I was, take Cayenne Pepper capsules.

The pills given me by the doctors to stop the bleeding only worked the one time. I tried them twice after that without any results. I did not want surgery or a D and C. That is when I tried the Cayene Pepper caps. I took one cap each hour until the bleeding slowed to normal. It worked each time. I would begin with the capsules as soon as the blood flow got heavy.

I never had to go back to the emergency room. I never again had to go back to the doctors with the severe symptoms. I did go back and have a ultrasound scan and biopsy to make sure I was ok and that the fibroids were reduced in size. I think that this is important. Even though Fibroids do not usually turn cancerous....they can. It is wise during this time using alternative medicine to get an ultra soud and biopsy for a safe guard.

Three years later, I am now in menopause and free of symptoms. I am happy that I did not give into surgery, that I went through the time and trouble to find the answer for my fibroid tumors.

The ezzeac treatment on Fibroids is not backed by scientific studies, or hundreds of personal stories. I do think that after studying how the esseac herbs work and what they do for the liver....that it has a good chance of working for others. Ezzeac with Cat's Claw was the only thing along with the diet above that worked for me. I avoided surgery and that was my goal. It did not come easy or in a few days. The ezzeac is expensive, so it is not easy on the budget.

You must also implement the diet along with the Ezzeac with Cat's Claw. That is extremely important.

If I had undergone the operation and its recovery with loss of wages, it would have been much more expensive. Many women, not all, have severe hormonal problems after hysterectomies. You don't know which end of the stick you will be on....those happy they got the surgery and those miserable....until the operation is done and its too late. I will also say that in some cases when the fibroid has grown into a blood vessel that surgery may be the only answer. When it grows into a blood vessel, you can bleed to death. I almost did have surgery. Two of the times I went to the emergency room were at that edge. After the one time, I was told to book an immediate surgery date the next week. I had insurance but would have lost weeks of work. My fibroids were too large to take out vaginally. They would have had to be taken out through the stomach. That added more days of recovery and a greater chance of complications. I did feel deeply though that there was an answer in alternative medicine. That is why I persisted in trying to find an answer that was not surgical.

I would suggest strongly you buy this brand even if its from another site. I would rather have you buy it from someone else, then not try it.

No program has guaratees! I cannot say that I know this will work.... But I feel its worth the effort and expense to try it.

Avian Bird Flu...What You Should Do!

I will start on the progesterone issue tomorrow night. Tonight I want to address an article about the Avian Bird Flu Threat!

The World Trade Association wrote an article revising their estimates of 150 million Avian Bird Flu deaths to 7.4 million.

Well, that may be good news unless you are one of the 7.4 million still in the figures. They also state they have no idea actually how bad it will be until it hits.

This means that we should be prepared health wise. It is a known fact that many of those 7.4 million deaths will be the young, the elderly, the undernourished, the ones already fragile.

There will be deaths in those who think they have a strong immune system when they don't in reality. There will be deaths in those who don't take the illness seriously and those who don't believe in taking either standard medicine or herbal medicine. They are strong and don't need that stuff. These are the same people who will tell you they are healthy but rarely see a doctor, then drop death with a heart attack one day.

It is wise to work consistently on the health of your immune system with proper diet, proper rest, exercise, and stress reduction. Unmanaged stress reduces immune function and increases the severity of the illness. The healthier you are the less likely you are to develop the disease in the first place and the shorter the duration of the days sick.

When you start to feel ill, immediately start in with Vitamin C at 500 to 1000 mg several times a day. You should double up on your multi-vitamins add Zinc to your supplement regimen. Then follow up on the vitamins with Oregano or Goldenseal or Garlic. Oregano has been shown in clincial studies to be extremely effective against almost all of the germs floating around including staph and strep. Garlic as well has has thousands of clinical studies in Japan and Russia on its effectiveness against bugs, staph, strep, you name it.

You need to take more than the maintence dose listed on the bottle. If it suggests taking 2 a day....take 4 to 6 more. It takes a good strong dosage to defeat these bugs. The dosage should be taken several times a day...not just once.

You should drink a lot of water and rest! Keep your glasses and yourself away from the family as much as possible. If you have a dishwasher, this is a good time to use it. Wash your hands frequently!

Don't wait until you are really down with it! Start the regimen above at the onset of the aches and pain, the fatigue, mild fever, and achey throat. If you have to be around family that is ill....start the above regimen the first day you have contact with them. It takes often around a week for the bug to incubate in your system and for you to start feeling the symptoms.

With all that is going around, it is wise to keep an extra supply at home. This week, for instance, I gave my daughter my supply of Oregano when she came down with strep throat. I began taking what I had left on my bottle and Vitamin C now.....to make sure I don't come down with it. I ordered three extra bottles just to have on hand and some extra Vitamin C. Be prepared as the Girl Scout Motto says!
